pushing...

I know it's been a while.  I'm pushing...your patience for checking this blog for updates - my patience when uploading pictures that capture the last month of life - sugar on our child to help celebrate Easter - 30, celebrating my 28th birthday the day after Easter -- and myself to get out and enjoy! So thank you for hanging in there and hopefully my efforts to at least push the button on our camera will outweigh the wait!
So, without delay - here are some snapshots of life lately - pushed on you.

all smiles - keeping busy playing non stop!
oh yeah and i may have painted one toenail while she drifted off :)
such a big girl she needs her own place on the couch
but definitely still a big fan of her thumb!

we've been experimenting with new ways to keep that hair out of her face - this is the latest..though it does push her patience while i carefully put two binders in her hair in one sitting
always so curious - pointing at anything and everything nearby
then we spent some time enjoying the beautiful weather - pushing things around...
and riding in them...briefly
because what's a wagon ride without some stunts?
then we went back to pushing...and pushing...

The angel said said to the women, "Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.  He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said.  - Matthew 28:5-6
Now, while the rest of the pictures share our Easter holiday celebration - I do want to emphasize that it is not all about finding Easter eggs - in fact, it is not even remotely about that, but Adi is 1 so we did some hunting anyway.
Hunt #1 with G+G Powers: with a gift from Great Grandpa John
and we needed applause every time we found an egg

Hunt #2 with G+G Peltier: combination with my birthday party

and i LOVED the chocolate filled eggs
auntie lola helping me show off my cookie
spent a little time watching the Masters with daddy
and even braving the wind to play outside
Easter Morning - checking out my goodies
exploring at Aunt and Uncle Rostamo's house
only took about 15 tries to get a family picture
in and out...
sneaking bites with Grandma in the kitchen before we ate
meeting a new friend...Liam
Hunt #3 at Aunt + Uncle Rostamo's: with all that practice, I'm a pro!
inspecting the loot...

such a beautiful Easter holiday spent with family!
we're tuckered out - see you again soon! (I know, but I'll try)
