I won't give up!

I wouldn't blame you if you've given up on me by now - but then again, I guess you wouldn't actually be reading this, so thank you for NOT giving up! I have no real excuses, other than it being summer time; having a 17 month old (who is getting 4 more teeth); awaiting a status update with my company's layoffs; learning of a new position within my company; trying to understand what I'm doing; and just not wanting to sit inside!
Ok - maybe I have a couple excuses.
That being said, I wanted to inundate you with some more photo updates from the past month or so since I've been gone.
first venture to Canterbury Park - on a 90 degree day

Adi loved watching the ponies go around...or the cool metal from the fence?

we went down close for one race so Adi could actually see what was happening

I know...Mom has to make everyone do the awkward photo opps!

Adi was much more interested in walking the rows...meeting new people - I love this girl!

at the end of May, we had a lovely Girls' Weekend in Duluth, MN - it was fantastic time away with my two favorite ladies! We spent the weekend wandering, eating, chatting, laughing, and just relaxing.  Thanks for spending time with me, love you both!

we rented a surry and cruised the lakewalk

pretty good timer-shots

it's been hot already this summer, but that hasn't kept us inside - plenty of time at the local playgrounds...mostly digging/getting dirty :)
not too sure about the swing...Daddy's going for the hard sell

brave little one going down the tube slide!
and loved it! they went down quite a few more times after that
we've done some grilling...and Adi apparently wanted the mustard (don't worry, it wasn't open)
Happy Father's Day - to the most wonderful Dad this family could ask for. We love you Daddy and are SO thankful to call you our own! Not the best pictures of Dad + Daughter, but she sure did make us laugh!
I had to include the 'series' - because some of these faces are just a hoot! No shortage of personality with this one!
all that 'hamming' makes for a sleepy girl
ok, maybe a little more
always curious about the camera
bath time is always a fun time
looking like such a big girl!
Thanks Uncle Matt - I LOVE my water table! Especially when I splash others
don't mind the hair...but she loves this little spot on the stoop
out at one of Daddy's softball games
maybe not watching so much as running around
and what's summer without a fire + s'mores? Of course, our little sweet tooth loved this treat!
....if you can't tell :)

Well, that's the update for now - hope you all are enjoying your summer, in the sun or wherever you prefer to spend it!
