NICU +2

Since all I know is what we experienced the first time around, I am going to go ahead and compare.  We are 12 days out from the arrival of our second little girl, Claire - that is the equivalent of Adi's stay in the NICU +2 days at home.  Hard to believe how fast time goes!
We had Claire's newborn well  visit late last week and she is doing JUST fine - already back up past her birth weight (7lbs 5oz at just over a week old).  Apparently they typically give 2 weeks for babies to get back to that level, so we clearly have a healthy eater on our hands!
We are all still adjusting to life with our larger family and trying our best to enjoy every minute in between.  Here's what I've been busy with lately...

We had quite an eventful weekend - with Mom & Dad's first night out (with Claire in tow) to celebrate a friend's birthday dinner -- who brings their newborn baby to Crave?! :)  Then we took a family trip to Mall of America on Saturday (apparently everyone in the state of MN also went) - so Adi + Dad could go on a couple of rides and Mom could get out of the house! Sunday morning, we had a family photo shoot at home - I'm SO excited to see the pictures!! Claire also went to Church for the first time on Sunday evening for our Church's communion service.  All in all, we had a busy - but great weekend as a family.  Now we are hunkered down, enoying the beauty of the freshly fallen/falling snow outside from the comfort of our couch! Kind of thankful for my driving restriction this week yet :)
